Sound absorbers in schools reduce noise

Children playing sports yelling and cheering for each other. That is the normal life in every school every day. But sometimes the noise is too loud, the children and teachers get head aches and are stressed and suddenly the fun game is no longer that fun. All that has been changed in the renovated school Viktoriaskolan in Örebro where the school has focused on creating a healthy and modern gym hall.

At the newly built Victoria School, knowledge, modern technology, creativity and health are important building blocks for the future. So also at Almbyskolan in Örebro where the old gymnasium has been completely renovated and modernized.

“Children should be children and just be loud and have fun. We as a supplier have to be able to find the suitable acoustic solution for any circumstance”, Michael Laine, Parafon Key Account Manager states and continues “for this case it was important to focus on acoustic and on impact resistance solutions for the gym hall”.

The acoustic solution was Parafon Buller mounted directly on the walls with a HAT profile. The solution has a modern appearance and yet it solved all the noise issues of children playing sports.
